Bumps and Bruises

Today, when I got out of class, there were messages on my phone. Jeffrey had been hurt at school. So I called mom back and she was on her way to get him. Then I got a call from his teacher explaining the incident as best as she could. Some kids were messing around and jeffy was bumped or pushed from behind and fell hard on his knee. But then she proceeded to say it was swollen and bruised but they were pretty sure it wasn't broken. (Ok so at this point I am really getting worried.) So, I hang up and just try to get to the school as soon as possible. Then the nurse calls and gives me a report and wonders where we are. Mom arrives before me and picks him up. She meets me near the interstate. His knee is bruised but not dire the way I was prepared to see this hideous distorted knee.. Laughing... It was slightly swollen.. No visible bruise just yet, although there was one forming tonight. Poor little guy will be sore but after speaking to the teacher and the nurse and 2 voicemails I was prepared for much worse. Just one of those childhood things!

JackJack on the Mic

For christmas one of the kids got this microphone, you know the echo kind. Anyhow, Jack Jack Just loves it. He sits there and sings to himself into it on a regular basis. Look out we have a true American Idol in the making! Isn't he a cutie! I found him this time hiding behind the recliner just singin' away!

Horsie Horsie

Jessalyn knows where all the horses are on the routes around the area. Recently we noticed a new foul. It was brand new and all spindly legged. She was sooo excited. Mom and Jessa went back to get some pictures and look some more. She just loves anything about horses and love to stop and feed and pet them..

Happy Birfday to JesSaLyN!!!

Anyone who has spoken with Jessa in the past 3 months knows that it is her birthday and she is 4!!! She is so excited to be 4! She informed us she is now almost 5. Hehehe!

She had a great birthday. Her favorite dinner of 'pasgetti and MeatBulbs'.

Then her party was in the evening, complete with Strawberry Pink Pony cake and Pink Ice cream ( well, vanilla with strawberries in it.

Her favorite. She LOVES strawberries.) She got lots of fun things. She got a horse jigsaw puzzle, lots of new clothes, little Peoples Cinderella and stagecoach, Zebras, a book, My little pony and all kinds of fun stuff. Oh and some Shovels to dig with. She just made out.

Oh, I almost forgot, and a pinata!! it was a different one, you pulled strings to get the candy to fall. The kids thought it was`great.

But see, Jeffrey realized something..., Jessa didn't ask for expensive stuff and she got LOTS of stuff... hmmm... maybe there's something to this? hehehe.. It was funny.

BE BE Safe- BB Gun

For Jeffrey's Birthday he received a BB Gun from Grandpa Amos and Grandma Darla. (Yes, Yes, I know what I have always said about guns, but he knows the rules. I laid down the laws when he first got it and I swear the first indiscretion and I will take it away permanently!)
He really enjoys it. He likes to practice and has gotten good at hitting the target He will beat the target to death before he starts on a new one. So far he has been much better than I expected. He is very careful with the safety and where he points the gun. He is also very conscious of other people around him. It has not been the worrisome stressor I feared it might be, he hasn't shown any desire to aim at innocent squirrels or woodland creatures as I imagine my own brothers would have. :P Jeffrey has shown the proper amount of responsibility with his Gun. I am so proud of the lil guy! :) He hits the target more than he misses and definitely more than I can hit it! I just aim and hope I hit the box at all let alone hitting the bullseye!

Sun Sun Summer's Coming!!

Sandy day..... We had another beach day, I think Jack is getting accustomed to the sand now. Hooray! He ventured off the towel and onto the sand by choice and actually found a stick and had a great time with it. :)

The waves were bigger and the current stronger so we were wading mostly but that is all we usually do anyhow! Jessa lost her favorite shovel to a greedy wave though (everyone say awwww.) It was plastic but bigger and did not bend as easy as her lil yellow one did. (Yes, my daughter is a shovel connoisseur and has a favorite shovel. hehehe.) We were all sitting in the sand and digging a hole just out of reach of the water when a huge wave came in and wiped us all out. I was busy grabbing Jackson and keeping ahold of Jessalyn. But she had her eye on the shovel and started yelling almost before she spit out the water. We looked but never did find it. Oh well, I will keep an eye out for a "good" sand shovel. LOL
It started raining a bit and was really coming down when I decided to leave. So I gather up all our stuff and when we got back to the car... I thought for a moment I had locked the keys in the car or trunk. In the rain... Dumping out the beach bag and 3 kids... It was a hoot. But I finally found them and all three sandy kids jumped in just after the rain stopped! hehehe... That's Florida rain for you though! Just long enough to change your plans!
