The Costumes....

This year we decided early what the kids would be for Halloween. Jeffy wanted to be a Knight and Jessalyn wanted to be a fairy Princess. We made Jeffrey's "Chain-Mail Shirt" out of bubble wrap and duct tape which we then spray painted. We couldn't find a silver helmet so we ended up painting a brass colored one we found.
Jessalyn actually had a different dress to wear but when she saw this one she was sure it was a Fairy Princess dress. It is too big but it worked for Halloween. I figure if I put it in the back of the closet she will have a truly great dress to wear in a year or a year and a half! :) So we dressed her all up, with her wand and all. But she had seen a pic of Cousin Maddie and she had wings so we had to rush out and get some for her costume. We wanted to get her a lil tiara to wear, but she saw the pink hair at the dollar store and was sure a Fairy Princess needed Pink Hair. hehehee. So Sweet!
Unfortunately we don't have a picture with their psuedo-cousin Daniel. He was a little red dragon! They all looked too cute!

My 8th Anniversary

Wow can you believe I have been married for 8 years? This weekend Jeff and I flew to St Louis and then drove down through the Ozarks. It was SOOO beautiful! Ah! I loved iT! We went to this cool place called Elephant Rock as well. You see it in the pictures. These are natural rock formations and one of the best geological areas for study in the world. (I didn't know that, but according to the guidebook people come from around the globe to study the rocks there.) We had a terrific weekend but it sure was tiring! I still haven't caught up!
The kids had a great weekend with Grandma. They went to a carnival, to the movies and were generally spoiled rotten for 2 days. They thought it was heavenly. :) Thanks MOm and Dad! :)

The Engagement Photo Shoot

I'm Ron Weasley!!!

hehehe.... So on Friday night we were over at our friends house and J and I were Dying her Daughter -(E)'s hair. Just some subtle highlights. When we were finished, there was ALOT of Dye leftover so we said, Come on in Jeffrey! We only left it on like 5 minutes before we washed it out. But he looks sooo Stinkin' Cute!! He was tickled to death and felt no one would recognize him. He kept saying, "I look like Ron Weasley! Did you think I was Ron?" At church on Sunday he was the reverance child and he was really tickled that the Bishop had to do a double take when he went to excuse him and said he wasn't sure at first who he was. Jeffy thought that was the greatest! "He thought I was Ron Weasley going to church there!"
Still two days later, he keeps running to the mirror in the hall and sayin, "I am just checking my hair."
I just love it! It makes his eyes so very blue! Too bad it will wash out in just a few washes!

They Are Engaged!!!

Welp! Jonny did it... He proposed to Jenny. And we have to give him snaps for presentation (haha!) He wrapped himself into a box and called her from inside the box in the garage. Jenny went to the garage... Touched the box and walked back inside without opening it. :) hehehe... So he had to call her back and tell her to go back out and open it. Then he jumped out and popped the question. Not sure if it's a good gift or not... (Just Kidding Jon!)
Anyhow, I am happy for them and their new plans. Date is Tentatively Dec 16th... We will just have to wait and see... Crazy huh???!!!

A total Wreck!

ugh.... So well, last Thursday Jeff drove my van to work. And Yep... It happened. He got into an accident. He did go to the ER for chest XRAYS and a EKG but he got a healthy but sore bill of health. However, the van was not so fortunate.
We found out yesterday, the van will be a total loss. :( WAAA!!! I truly liked my van. but now.... We have to begin the hunt for a replacement vehicle. icky ick...

She's In Love....

Have I told you about our Horse fanatic we have at our home? Yes She is not quite 2 1/2 yet, but she is seriously attracted to horses at the moment. She sleeps with her plastic horses, Carries them around in a canvas bag, has 2 "Pony Books" or "Horsie Books" of which one must go with us whereever we go. Yep she is seriously in love. Don't know where it came from... but it's there.
So I decided to call around and see but the youngest anyone does riding lessons is 4yr olds but that place said I could bring her and she could ride the pony and we "see How it goes." They also recommended we take her to a horse show this weekend. So we decided to go today.... Oh my adorable lil cowgirl was in 7th Heaven. She even got to sit on a horse for a bit. I may be just Slightly biased... But isn't she just soo stinkin adorable!
