Too Many Gifts!
The Pagent
When I was growing up every year on Christmas eve My parents would read the Christmas story. My brothers and I would pull out every bathrobe in the house and put towels and belts on our heads as costumes and act out the Christmas story. (Yes, I was always Mary, except for the year Brandy was with us and I got to be the Angel.) We usually had Sheep in long underwear and extra "wise guys" as my brothers called themselves. Along with the standard shepherds, Mary and Joseph. If there was a baby in the family, he got to be Baby Jesus but more often than not it was one of my cabbage patch dolls.
So this year, Jeffrey, Jessalyn and Jackson were the actors in the reading of the Christmas story. I love that I can pass this tradition down to my children. Poor Jessalyn was running a high fever all had and made a rather somber Mary but soo sweet.
And Last but not least we had to have Uncle Jonny being a Ham of a Wise Guy! :)

Learning to Scream
Anyone who has rough housed with Jeffrey knows he has a hiugh pitched "girlie" Scream. So tonight Jon And Joe were teasing him. (Yea they both just got in today for the holiday weekend.) Anyhow, They were playing with him and decided something must be done about that "girlie" Scream. So they had lessons on how to scream in a "manly" way. LOL!!! Yep, It was all very manly. No more AHH!! it's more like Argh!!! Chuckle! Hehehhe.. I can't wait to see what they come up with next! Their own children, when they come along will be a total riot.

O christmas Tree
So I left Jack sitting in the corner of the couch since he is still not quite sitting up by himself. You can only leave him for a minute before he flops over, normally. Welp, today I left him to grab a drink from the kitchen and when I came back there he was stretching for all he was worth to grab the Christmas Tree. :) Those little red balls were just irresistible! And worth his effort to squirm around to get em!

Dad's 'Vette
So for my Entire Life, I have heard Dad talk about his vette. He said one day he would own one. He loved corvettes. He would see one and talk about them and what a great car they were. He would stop in a parking lot and check them out. So now, he finally got one a 1981 Corvette. Hehhehe... He loves it! He can't wait to spend time with it. Half the fun is the fixing it up. The engine works great with lots of extras for a sup'd up engine. So now he will work on the physical appearance. But he loves that corvette even with it's primer paint job! :) The day after he got it, he was even out there washing it up. Hehehe... Like it made a difference to the primer! Gotta love it. He is buying corvette catelogs for corvette parts and all kinds of corvette merchandise. He has already bought a specialty hood for it.
I am so glad he finally has his Corvette he has always wanted and I wish him many happy hours making it his own!

Bubble Wrap
So Aunt Deborah sent a gift and in it was something Jack thought belonged to him. AS I took out the gift (No, I didn't cheat! It was wrapped under the bubbles.) I took off about 12 ft of bubble wrap. Jack caught the end of it and started rollin around. He had a great time with it! Then mommy ruined all his fun and took it away. Mean 'ol mommy!

Him's a Happy Boy!
We are seeing a lot more smiles from Jack-Jack now. He still likes to be held most of the time, but it is getting better about taking a few minutes here and there on the floor or in the swing and stuff. He is now reaching for things. (He especially loves Hair, Just ask Jessalyn!) He is frequently rolling over. Hooray! No more vegetable baby! hehehe... He is even trying to sit up now, but still has a round bottom. I was so worried because he wasn't doing these things yet then right after Thanksgiving... Boom! He did them all at once!
And just in case anyone was wondering he still weighs right at 17 lbs. At his last Dr. Appt he was 50% in weight for his age and 75% in height. :)

The Creche' Exibit
What is a Creche Exibit you ask? It is a Nativity display. The Stake in Evansville sponsors one each year, this is the 4th year. There are sooo many different nativities. It was SO awesome! So many people depicting Christ's birth in so many different artistic ways. I took pictures but it really does not do it justice. Some were entire towns with so much detail! There were 456 Nativities displayed in all. There was an International room with Nativities from many different countries. There was a white room, a glass room, a children's room, a fabric- made room, a unusual nativity room, a miniatures room, a wood room, As well as artist's displayed donated by area galleries. It was very moving. I just can not describe how beautiful an experience it was to see. There was also a Live Nativity and a family room where the kids could dress up, and do crafts and activities. Soooo.... Knowing all that.... I hope you can see why it was Very hard for me to choose what photos to put on here! But here are some Favorites! :)

EZ Fudge
MMMMMM... holiday fudge!!! Okay, so perhaps my fudge does not look that good. hehehe... but I did make some fudge tonight using Great Hensley's EZ recipe. I can't wait for it to set so I could try it!
I spoke with her on the phone a while ago. She had knee surgery this past week. She seemed really tired. She said she had physical therapy this morning and then group physical therapy. I could tell she was still on oxygen. And totally wiped out. Agh! So keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she trys to recover. She should come home from the hospital on Saturday when the kids and I get there.
If the kids are too much, I dunno if we will stay the whole weekend. But if I can be of help I will. Grandma says Grandpa is lost and was pretty funny trying to figure out how to turn on the dishwasher. hehehehe...
