So for Jessalyn's birthday we went to the rodeo. (Flat-Maddie came along as well.) Jessalyn enjoyed seeing all the horses. She really liked the barrel racing. The kids were able to take part as well. They had an event in which all the kids got into the arena and chased 2 calves. The goal was to grab a ribbon out of their tails. Jeffrey came VERY close to one of them but his grab missed the ribbon. They had a terrific time. It was a long eventful day! but full of fun! :)
(It was difficult to take pictures in there because we were above the arena and it was dark but the lights were low enough to be in the scenes. The camera didn't like it very well. But here are some of the best I could get.)

I saw the link to your page from your email. This is a neat idea. It's a way for your extended family to keep up with you and your family. Perhaps once we start having a family I'll do what you've done.
